Yep, settling in now. Tomorrow's the first day. Everything's closed today because it's some sorta public holiday. Auckland something memorial something something. So I couldn't get more shampoo or toothbrush... hahah! I didn't realize I'd forgotten my toothbrush! Oopsie! And I realize my hair keeps blocking one eyes in the photos. haha! Anyway, it's Auckland is 5hrs ahead of you guys in Malaysia and I'm groggy sleepy at the moment. I shall nap now =) Nites! Blog again later =)

The day b4 classes started we went to look around the uni to find our way around the uni....=P So....here is a photo of 2 jakun ppl looking for our way around....hahaha =)

Since evelyn's mum was still around she brought us to eat tim sum at Northbridge...forgot the name lar.....sorry lar....we're blur......=P haha....here's some of the pictures....only the fried sotong was yummy lar....=P

S : shopping is gooodd......=) i tot the shopping was soo little but actually quite big ehh.....hahaha =)

SY: the 2 bimbos i'm stuck with totally forget they're here to study medicine already!!!!

E : Hoi!!!! Who you calling bimbo ahhh?? You're soooo gonna sleep outside tonight!!!! =P

S : Oii.....see wat poor eve and I are stuck with....not fair lar....kesian us... =P

SY: somehow i seem to have the longest arms. or so they think la.. yeah i admit quite poser. :)

E: *points to the cup steph n i are holding* BOOST juice! *yumm!*

S: yess.....yummmyyy......i want more.....hahahaha....=)

SY: at the main campus, winthrop hall. this is the place we'll graduate from (God willing!!!) i took the pic. hendrick the gentle giant's in my group! did i mention he drives? :P muahahah!!

SY: see, we actually don't belong in the main campus. hehe! but we damn poser la so take opportunity to get some snapshots on the main campus. btw, we have no idea where we are!

SY: in UWA Hendrick blends right in with all the 'angmoh' cuz he's tall enough. the 'angmoh' can't even see the tops of our heads!

E : Yalaa, neck pain talking to the 'angmohs' gotta look up so much.. =\

A group pic of us at the Australia day fireworks...hehe =) the seniors were there too but the picture of them wasn't in my camera...the ppl from our batch were really nice as they chia us domino's as a welcoming thing and we went to a bbq at a guy from our batch's house..he had a really nice house but we were all new ppl and we pai seh to take our camera's out...hahaha....=)

Here's a pic of some of the fireworks...i dunno how to take nice pictures of fireworks la...hahah too hard....but basically the fireworks run for like at least 20 mins with music. quite entertaining but after a while we all got bored...ahahaha....After the fireworks we followed the seniors to the city for bubble tea and then they got hungry so they went to eat some more...hahaha....

Okay....so I think we haf been quite mengada larrr.....so we shall end our mengada-ness here lar....hahaha =) stupid blooger soo hard to arrange the pictures and change all the colours lar....making all of us angry already....hahaha...take care everyone and do come visit us here in the Wonderful Perth =) hehehe

After my long stretch of laziness I have decided to sit down and post some pictures up. haha.. This will be like part 1 cuz still got some pics in Evelyn's camera...hehe

Well...the day I flew from Singapore airport damn alot of planes leaving at the same time. Almost like a traffic jam. Haha...Come to think of it now I'm lucky I got Perth, only 5 hours flying time. In the plane I remembered how much I do not like flying long hours. So 5 hours is good.. hahaha...


On the first night I arrived in Perth Yih Seng's sister so nicely took my mum and I out for dinner and then to King's park...This is a picture of the city from King's park. I must say it looked really beautiful cuz the last time I went to King's Park I went during the day so it wasn't so nice. But it was super cold..hahaha...lucky I brought my jacket cuz the wind kept blowing.. And they so nicely lit up all the big big trees... I didn't take a closer pic of the trees but the trunks are all like white and smooth one. forgot the name of the tree though...hahahaha....u guys can come and visit it and see it next time lar...



My mum and I stayed at the Hilton in the city so it was pretty good for going shopping..we could just walk there and anyway the buses in the city are all free.. super easy and nice to use..ahhaa That time they hadn't taken down the big xmas tree in the city so there it is =) hehe


Another nite Yih Seng's sister took us out for dinner...wanted to eat fish and chips but dunno why the shop close so early that day so we ended up eating Italian food...which was really yummy anyways...=) I forgot the name of the food though...hahaha...=) This one has a canggih name but I can't remember. I just know its sth like garlic bread with tomatos and onions on top haha...


Yummy ceaser salad...my favourite haha...=)


Finally the main dish, seafood platter with fish, prawns, mussels, squid. hehe...


Near the fish place I saw this in the window...an interesting way to keep your knives in order don't you think?? haha....


So before we started our classes and I was house hunting I took some pictures of our medicine campus. We're like isolated from the main campus which is such a shame cause the main campus is really beautiful..I have some pics to put up later....haha...The main reason they separated the med students is cuz we're situated right next to the Sir Charles Gardner hospital, one of the hospitals we could be placed at. Here's a picture of the medicine and dentistry library.

Thats half the library and half the dentistry school.. The dentistry school is much newer than the medical school so the buildings look much nicer.. =P


Here's a picture of our med lecture theater. Not very canggih lar I must say...hahaha...

This one is also part of the med school...Dunno wats inside though...hahaha will find out next time.

Ah...see how nice the main campus is....hehe...Eve, Sue Yin and I said we should go there to lepak sometime...hahaha.... Thats the famous bell tower =P got a pond in front again with lots of ducks inside if you want to feed them...hahaha...


Got lots of nice green fields....hehehe...nice to sit on and have picnics....That day when we went to walk around there was 2 weddings being held at the uni...We especially like the sunken garden...next time i'll take a pic of it....=)



Here's a picture of my house from the outside. Its a 3 bedroom town house style house. I haven't taken a picture of my room yet cuz its not ready yet..hahaha still no study table and chair...going to get one this weekend....then when the room is complete I'll put a picture up of my kinda small but cosy room...=)

This is a picture from in front of my house of Trinity college. Thats where Sue Yin stays so its like 2 mins from my place to her place. Evelyn stay at St Catherine's college which is like 5 mins walk from my place so we're all near by each other so thats good good =)


My housemate's name is Elaine =) she's really nice....really funny =) When u guys come you can meet her la....Next time I'll take a pic with her and put it up....hehehe....One evening while we were cooking dinner together we decided to make a choc cake...hahaha.....so here's our wonderful cake....hehehe =)


Since class has started we're doing clinical methods first, so we did cannulations, injections, and I took blood yesterday...hahaha...super scarey lar....i got it 1 out of 2 times lar....2nd time failed...hahaha....=P Next week going to hospitals to practice d.....scareyy....hahaha....=P

So here's an update from cold wet n windy preston. We went skiing! well.. kind of..
During christmas hols a bunch of country bumpkins from preston n a couple of sophisticated london-ers decided to go on a ski trip. to FINLAND! how random.. i know. The sophisticated london-ers had a sophisticated cheap deal for a one week stay there so off we went.
