woohoo! i'm here to post someting! haha.. sorry guys.. i'm in obstetrics now! oh my.. u ppl shud come n do some obs posting here la... i've to wake up every day at 615 AM!!!! this is not a time for human to wake up la! wat the! i've to leave house before sunrise! and i've to reach the hosp at 7 or latest 7.15am... u ppl can seriously imagine how suffering is this la... never mind.. we got class almost every afternoon till 4 or 5 pm.. then i'll rush back to sleep.. haha! as usual.. i need my beauty sleep!! then at night i terpaksa go back to the wards to clerk all my patients.. cos we need to cover the whole ward.. and our hebat seremban hospital.. got 40+ patients in a ward.. meaning i've got bout 8 patients to clerk everyday! cos the very next morning at 8am we've to present the case to our dr who comes to do ward round.. hehe! konon he's very fierce n will throw ppl out of the ward if we dont clerk all our patients.. it didn't happen to us though.. konon it happen to another group.. phewww... luckily i'm rajin! hahahaha...
bran is going to be in my ward this coming two weeks.. meaning starting from tmr.. hohoho! n i'm going to his ward.. which is not so stressful.. n no need to go at night to cover the whole ward.. that's one of the reasons why i can sit down here and blog.. haha! he's actually in the labour room now la..
we're suppose to be on call this weekend.. i'm going later in the evening.. with erin.. =D it's quite cool in the labour room.. i set up iv drip which i failed.. haha.. first attempt k! lousy me.. hahaha... then i took blood.. then i catheterise one poor patient.. n i did vaginal examination on the same patient.. n i delivered her placenta too.. haha! quite scary.. the delivering placenta part.. i've to put my fingers in to do another vagninal examination n korek all the blood clots or any remaining things inside.. n i've to actually carry the new born baby to the mother.. oh no! our CSUs didn't teach us how to carry baby la! hahaha... oh.. forgot.. i actually learnt how to help a postpartum mother wear a PAD! hahahaha... from... a STUDENT NURSE! hahahaha.. so funny right.. wear pad also need to be taught.. aih.. n i'm a girl somemore le! hahaha.. but it's another kind of pad la.. is those pads with loops.. those student nurses and staff nurses are so much better from the doctors wei.. the staff nurses there are the best... they teach the doctors everything.. =D okay.. that's my first experience in the labour room la.. n we actually saw a fresh still birth.. aihh.. so sad! the baby looks perfectly normal.. just that.. it died in the uterus.. sob sob!

this is ben shyen.. the birthday boy.. we gave him a 'surprise' bday party which got bocor 10seconds before we asked him to come out of his room.. mayb cos rac's loud voice.. hahahhahaa or mayb is my loud voice.. hahaha..
