so i've dropped off the face of the earth

mostly because i've moved elsewhere in hamilton and also because the new house is so pimpingly retro it doesn't have internet (it has a buck above the fireplace =D). but it does have sky. which is the equivalent of astro. trying to get internet though. i'm finally suffering from internet starvation.

in other news, i'm done for the year. passed me osce. woohoo. score one more for m104. yeehee =D

and then in other other news, which is old. i've finally made a friend :) that makes me happy.

Hi GUYS!

How's everyone doing? Bet you didn't expect a new post or at least me of all people to be blogging. :)

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. Good luck to everyone who has just started/ will start working. May we be blessed with very little "WHoopsie"s and "uh oh"s!

Us, people who will be working in the UK will start work in August. Personally i'm a little nervous. I don't know how i'm going to be able to glue myself to the hospital from 8-5 daily and rid myself of all blurness and incompetencies. Interestingly or more accurately; coincidentally enough, Lena Ngu is going to be my CT1. hahaha.. Looks like im going to make her life a living hell!

On another note, who else is married/ getting married?
Every day or at least, every week on facebook is a surprise for me!
I just logged on today and Alvin is married? Last week it was Jia Qi, and the week before that was someone from M1/03 i don't remember who.
Soon people are going to start getting babies! hahaha!
It's not a bad thing! It's just one surprise after another! Looks like we've moved on from bfs and gfs to husband and wives? (Gosh that just gave me the chills!)

so it all started out on 26feb where we received our key out of IMU! all 70 of us made it...100% passes! damn incredible ok...i think it has something to do with IMU anniversary la...since our juniors had 100% passes as well...so here's our 'key' to freedom!

since we all graduated...its a cause for celebration rite? so we got the guys to go zouk!!! altogether 16ppl la...thanks to marilyn..we got in a lot of ppl for free! =) no mean feat ok getting the batangs thr..it was virgin clubbing session for some of dem i don rmbr who la...but we found the true dancers...1st place was, cheehong! 2nd was chernwoo i tink..den 3rd i tink we have jin aun...kesian him...trying his best but not attractive enuf...so u nit dancing moves, ask cheehong! =) oh ya, marilyn and her very canggih looking hair! =) she was like the centre of attraction! as usual la, actually...=)

den we ber-boring sendirian kat rumah for a while and we had a group trip up to genting...i for got how many ppl la..count yourself...but not bad...=) we went to this laser thingy for 10bucks per person and it sucked la...so we shiok sendiri berkecoh and berdrama in that little room with laser lights...=) we played theme park for a while..me and lw cheapo dowan get the wristband cos it was quite late d..so we curi xian-nian's and suyuen's...it worked ok..we got in the outdoor theme park without paying! =) and some ppl got nausea after playing teacup...apala!how can! you noe dat teacup...whr all you do is pusing pusing pusing!we played mafia at night and serial rapist was born! guess who is it! hahahha! at least i tink he was born then la...bad memory, not good for blogging! =)

ok...den we ber-boring for a very very very long while and we went krabi!!! it was damn fun la...anywhr with sand and sun and sea breeze is fun...me and lw were damn busy tanning ourselves and we din get burnt...the guys, all tan 1 day oni bcame damn red the next day...they were like lobsters...and canot simply ter-kena dem...dey ll marah ppl wan...damn crazy...but i m sure it was really dat painful la...quite kesian actually...hahahhaa!!! krabi was really fun...u can jalan-jalan bershopping, can tan yourself, can go island hopping..n the resort we stayed at was damn nice...can ber-honeymoon thr next time k....got the v romantic feel to it...=)

so that's all la...i m now damn bored at home again...ask lw to blog bout her taiwan trip and mich/gowri to blog bout their aus trip la..i did nth! =( *damn sore* hahahha!!!

Merry Christmas Kecoh Peeps! I've been free as free could be so i decided to make a little collage of our outing. i think it took longer to do that that if i'd just loaded all the pictures onto blogger =P but what's the fun in seeing the same pics in the same way as you'd have seen on facebook, aye? i see there is another blogpost in the pipeline as a draft which is good to know. we should keep this blog alive =) so, so glad for the internet, us lazy people (meaning me mostly) woulda lost touch with you guys due to constant procrastination and altogether bumness.

my photoshop's expired which means i had to do this in word. and then print screen to paint. noob. but it works. wish blogger would show it up bigger though.

This is going to be an freaking long photopost. yes, another one of those. hopefully not too monotonous because it's composed mostly of arm's length shots and inebriated or in the process of being inebriated people. somehow we managed to not catch any of the alcohol. except for probably for the glass of wine lina's holding below (lina! tsk tsk!). seriously, the only other photo i have that has any alcohol in it is one of someone you guys don't know. so what's the point of putting that up, aye? and probably one or two of me with a glass of wine (that's never empty =P)

So, this was a really long time ago and i'd promised to put it up so it's finally done. it really was quite fun to have lina in auckland. and good timing too since it was the med revue and i was trying to get more imu into the mix. which turned out to be quite a success considering it was a week's work (again) even though we'd be thinking about doing something for a long time.

Act 1.1 - Med Revue -

(okay so it isn't really in order but i felt like writing that)

after a week's worth of after lecture practices, rearranging music, changing steps, stressing a little, practising some more, keeping my fingers crossed that the boys won't jack, recording ourselves so we know how cool (silly) we actually look. this is the three of them before the show at saleena's and atiqah's place. haha! =P

kit chung came to watch lina. he wouldn't have come to the med revue otherwise. hehe. he was smart and bought tickets for the second night. we do the med revue for three nights running. the first night is sometimes fumbly and the third night could be mayhem because people are drunk listless and may turn up on stage late or not at all. so second night's best.

this one was from the second night i think. i had stars on my face the second night.

and this would be the first day. strokes of creativity only hit the second and third night. and i started doing make up the lina, sal and atiqah then as well.

this was how many people were in the room. we were squashed in that tiny space trying to put make-up on, take photos, be altogether idiots. Act 1.2 - After Party at Margaritas

I'm choosing not to post many pictures from the after party for many reasons. one of them being the photos are inappropriate for public consumption. but their on facebook anyway =P

Act 2 - more clubbing

so lina wanted to berskanky. she lent me her shirt. or rather the remains of what used to be a promising shirt. haha.

Act 3 - Masquerade Party - yes we had one of those too

so it was thought to be appropriate to have a party in lina's honour. since she was going to go away soon and we hadn't had a party yet. (clubbing and random hang outs in large groups do not count) This is kit chung and lina. i think kit chung's mask is supposed to be some sort of anime character. *shrug*

we spent alot of time taking photos with candles and night mode cams. obviously timothy was our camera man

halfway through it was merdeka day. so we broke out in exuberant negaraku and that other patriotic song i don't the words to. it was so loud thomas and mankeat could hear across the corridor to the other side. (i live on the same floor as kit chung but on the other side of the building)

Hello everyone!!!
I know its been a super long time since I last blogged..lol I think i'm one of the worst contributers...haha thats cos i'm always damn malas to blog:P oh well at least I'm blogging now right??
Nothing very exciting to tell really...I just finished exam..YAY! damn happy:D I'm on holiday now but I won't be coming home till the 9th:( I'm attending my friends wedding in Sydney so thats why we have to stay back...OMG let me tell you guys...Su Yen and I will be singing at their wedding:( can you imagine? me singing in public??? *pengsan* lucky its a whole group of people...so we will be singing with like 16 other people? parts of 3 songs ok! The songs are quite nice la..but still! malu ok! Some more in the last song I got one line to sing with just one other person:S So cannot lip sync already...oh well..
Hmm what else..oh ya! I'm moving from my current house now...cos my older sis got a job here:D:D:D haha yes she is moving to the ulu place:P So Su Yen will be living with not one but two Ramans:D we found a place already (which was a major pain let me tell you) When you want to rent from an agent here you have to apply for the house ok! I don't know if its like that at home..You have to fill in a form and compete with the other ppl who want the house..anyway we got this house...quite nice la but a bit small..then at the time I didn't even think of the garden at all..mana tau we have to mow the lawn ok!!! So next year I'm gonna be gardener Gowri..hehe such a big hassle la I tell you...have to borrow a lawn mower from a friend...oh well I'll be damn pro at it next year I guess...haha but the good thing about this new place is that its less leafy compared to my current house..so hopefully got no spiders:D:D
And YAY! I'm super excited that Hai Fon and Moo are coming to Aus next year!! WHEEE so now everyone has to go to Syd for reunion k k k?? If everyone is damn free then you guys can come to Newy also..although really got nothing to do here..hehe we see how it goes I guess:D

So funny there was this deal on a UK budget airlines. ONE pound return trip to Portugal so we bought it. It says £3 cause I was helping two friends book theirs as well. Plus debit card fees and taxes its still £18 per person. Cool deal eh! Unfortunately have to ponteng class....^o^ .the horror of it.

This isn't the supermega ultimate end-of-year euro trip I've been going on about though. That one booked 100 years ago cause Kuching people are cool and efficient.

YEAH BABY! My melb electives were finally sorted! Bought my tickets too! We should have a IMU gathering in Sydney! Yepyep! Quite happifying.

It’s super blog saver hf to the rescue with his Intermediate Life Support skills to resuscitate the blog. Got to fill out some job applications so...naturally must find ways to procrastinate. Don’t worry lah I think this blog will be receiving twice daily updates next year around Feb. So I’m doing Dermatology now and my reg diagnosed me with psoriasis. For non medics it’s a condition that looks like this.

I got a bit worried so I got a second opinion from my consultant who said it looked more like eczema but it might well be mild psoriasis. Later that day, bumped into Van who looked at it long and hard and said ‘looks more like psoriasis leh.’ The lesion was on my butt btw. Sigh so after manymany years....and mindful of all the stick I’ve given my friends about using girly products, I..bought...moisturizer... It was a sad day where I abandoned all my principles but fucklah I had to know whether I had eczema or psoriasis! Anyway couple days later the erythematous areas on my elbows have gone and I’m cool cause I don’t have psoriasis.

Hahah anyway the good thing that came out from all of this is that I did reading on psoriasis and eczema on my own time and I’m cool cause I’m hardworking. Did you know...atopics: eczema, asthma, hayfever - I have all three =/ have an autosomal dominant disorder that affects the stuff that cements the cells of our skin together. So basically we have trouble retaining moisture and are more exposed to irritants. Anyway explains my facedruff after showering. See...I didn’t abandon my principles so easily okay...for 1 billion years, after I shower my face peels and if I brush my hand against my cheeks it flakes off like snow. I named it facedruff and it should be a medical condition. Or I should follow the trend of those sadistic medical assholes and name it zerutiopslkjheu ibuuyuhjuosmwne condition and force all medical students to memorize it and die in gleeful satisfaction knowing after I’m long dead, generations of noobs are suffering because of me.

Ok hungry liaw...oh before I go watch this video. Nicked it off a kch fler’s blog. Maybe kuching people really do have some affinity towards cats.

Its been almost 5 years since I started med school yet it seems like it just happened yesterday. I remember looking forward to getting my new white coat, my first stethoscope or a tendon hammer, you know, the little things that make us look somewhat more like a doctor. Perhaps some of you folks are looking forward to getting your first pager, some go a little further, hoping to get your first dictaphone (is that how they spell it? I don't know) but now all I look forward to is a holiday. :p

Have I been too pessimistic about my profession?

Yet again I spent another evening eating out because I had no time to shop for groceries and just around the corner not very far from where I live lies a little store that sells cheap Japanese food takeaways. Due to my frequent patronage I have grew familiar with the store owner and his family and tonight, little 11 year old Litasha, the oldest daughter of the store owner (Martin), shall be my waitress. We've met countless times but never talked, she was always busy doing her "thing" such as playing around with her younger brother (Joshua) or skating around on a skateboard, never bothering about the chores around the shop. But tonight was different, since she had to help out mom, she had more opportunity to speak to me.

"How are you doing young lady?" I said.
"Good!" She replied with a smile.

Its amazing how different kids are if you bring them up in Western countries. I would assume an 11 year old Malaysian kid would be very shy and would rather avoid any encounters with an adult if possible but here in New Zealand, these kids will eat your heart out. But they're adorable.

"I heard you are studying in Otago."
"As a matter of fact, I am. Would you like to study there someday?"
"Yes."
"Well what are your interests?"
"I want to draw. I really love drawing."
"That's great! Would you like to be a doctor someday?" I said it jokingly of course, I mean... we gotta learn to sell our profession once in a while to make ourselves feel good.

"Uh... no."
"Why not?" I started to laugh.
"I... I don't know. I don't like to read, I just like to draw."

Ah... Isn't that the classic answer you'd expect from every kid? I'm not saying she wouldn't change her mind later in life, but I distinctly remember myself saying the same thing when I was at her age. I wonder what changed my mind... Or maybe I didn't. You know, its very much like how a frog would react to heat. If you threw a frog straight into a pot of boiling water, they'll jump out immediately. But if you place them in cold water, and slowly heat it up, they'll cook themselves to death because they can't tell the change in temperature.

I think maybe that was what happened to me... I never foresaw the amount of books I will have to go through in the future and neither did I care, because for all I know, there always so little to do. But then the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, and the months turned into years. And before I knew it, a book turned into two, then the book covers became further apart, then they (the books) starts to outweigh you, and then you have to do literature search, and then suddenly you are faced with exams that might potentially kill you, so on and so forth...

Just before I finished eating I talked a little with Connie, Martin's wife. I told her my birthday was coming up and she asked how am I going to celebrate it. I just giggled and told her,

"Well... I could try NOT studying as a celebration, hows that?"
"Aww you poor thing. Come over here and I'll cook you something for free!"

I know what you guys are thinking... I did NOT do that to get an invitation for a free meal! >_< Although, I wouldn't pass that up. :p But I guess that explains why we always get a "wow" response when we tell people we're studying medicine because the average person can tell just how much crap we have to take before we make it. Not to mention those who didn't make it. The fees are expensive, the time spent studying are ridiculous, the exams are tough, the working hours are long, and if we make a mistake we risk getting our asses sued. Long story short, it isn't an ideal job.

Sure there is some glamour that goes with the title but I think its overrated compared to the effort we have to put in. Sure you get the opportunity to make lots of money when you become a consultant but what of those who just wish to remain as senior house surgeons?

Have I been too pessimistic about my profession?

Nah... I think there's no such thing as being optimistic or pessimistic. Sometimes it seems to me that optimism is just a beautiful form of denial while pessimism is nothing but a plea for attention.

I'm just being down to earth I guess. Rather than taking a side, I prefer realism. That sheen which comes along with the coat and title, unfortunately, in my opinion, will never stand the test of time and will wear off eventually. What is left is probably an old and worn out man wishing he could've travel back in time and perhaps spent a little more time painting, singing, dancing, or do all sorts of other stuff.

I'm not saying this is a rule for every doctor! >_< There are some who are ambitious and passionate enough to make it to the top! Some even go on to become deans! But I don't think I care enough to make it that far... Remember that frog? I think you either need to have that passion for a hot steamy bath, or... or maybe you're just incredibly stupid. :p

I think being a doctor a great. But not for the rest of my life... Maybe I'll be a doctor for a couple years, then I'll go study history, art, poetry. I might even be a comedian! Or a street busker! We need to develop both lobes of our brains mind you. >_<

Haiz I'm damn frustrated at the moment. Most of you will know I'm dreading working life. I mean you can't just take the week off because you had the sudden impulse to fly to Spain or skip that morning lecture cause it doesn't fit into your tightly structured sleeping schedule. lol. Ah well the silver lining is that once I graduate I can stop being a financial burden to my parents.

Anywayy so I came up with this list of things I must do before graduating... unfortunately after a bright start to checking things off the list, things have not been progressing smoothly. Both climbing kk and scuba diving had to be scrapped, snowboarding was fully booked till november and now my marathon which I downscaled to a half-marathon seems improbable. I guess I shouldn't have pushed myself in that last week back in malaysia. I wanted to make up for the lost 3 weeks of training and I ended up injuring my knee. Diagnosed myself with iliotibial band syndrome. Fucking frustrating. I keep thinking I'll rest it properly and give it time to heal, then the next day I get impatient and run anyway. I don't get very far and come back pissed as hell. Anyway it has reached the stage whereby when I straighten my legs in my sleep the pain wakes me up. Aiyah cibai body...regenerative powers really shit.

Anyway this is all very uninteresting hahaha. Okok let me think of something bo liao to blog about........

hrmmmm ok can't think of anything but I shall make my next blog entry more interesting k? haha. oh wait before I go I shall heap some pressure on the moomoonater. So her trip to the exotic Dominican Republic included things like windsurfing, abseiling down waterfalls, getting arrested for illegal drug possesion, facing a hurricane and much more!! So cmon moo tell us all about it!!

Every1's busy obsessing with exams, and the stress levels are amazing. At least I think they are. Haven't seen people for like the last 1 week.

Anyways super bored with studies.

Today's Racine's bday!! as usual.. we went out for dinner n cut cake n everything.. sban is boring.. no where else to eat k.. so we ended up in pizza hut.. hehe! my initial plan was to go green box.. it's red box sister.. or brother.. but it's our exam week.. n i dont tink anyone will have the mood to sing..

anyway.. Me n bran.. the only 2 housemates left.. ben ranaway to his gf's house edi.. (permanent resident there) we gave a lil' surprise to racine tan at 12 midnite.. we bought this cute lil' cup of SMARTIES ice cream.. to sort of replace the cake! haha.. smart rite?! steph got cupcake so rac can have her smarties ice cream.. =D

If i pass i'll stop playing so much computer games.

prayers are good for the soul.
n they seem to work so far.

Kuching people rock. For one we have an accurate perception of time and thus we will never be culpable of tardiness. "If Hai Fon isn't asleep he'll always be on time" (quoted by Nooboob KJ). Kuching people are also damn spontaneous. I'm bringing this up now because even after so many years my friends haven't changed.

Friend A resides in Aus, working.
Friend B resides in Canada, working.
Handsome Lengzhai C stuck in Leicester, pretending to be a med student.

Day 1-Conversation between Friend A and C
A-Working life sucks, lets go get smashed.
C-Ok
A-I'll ask B (both sends a facebook msg to B)

Day 2-Facebook reply from B
B-I'm down like a clown, Charlie Brown. I need dates to plan on my end.

Day 3-Dates confirmed, B and C applying for leave as we speak

Even in the highly unlikely case that the plan doesn't come into fruition, it took a total of 3 days to coordinate the dates of three people(from Kuching, where the coolest people come from) around the world. Itinerary is planned out and all thats left is to see if their leaves are granted. If all goes well, it'll be snowboarding in Switzerland, peeing off the Eiffel Tower in Paris and.....admiring the tulips and other pretty flowers in Amsterdam. Further venues to be added if they get the full length of leave they are applying for. This is why Kuchingnites will take over Malaysia. While KL people are deliberating whether or not to go to war and whether their parents will give them permission, Kuching people will have invaded, occupied their land and stolen their wives and daughters and be found in a kopitiam eating kolo mee.

The life substance of a Kuchingnite. Eaten in a kopitiam, it has the effect of making us relive our high school years, the craziest period of our lives (IMU was awesome too but in a more legal, socially acceptable way). Same old stories will be retold the billionth time about terrorizing teachers, wrecking havoc in class and each time a small piece will be lost in memory as time takes its toll on our perpetually regressed minds.

Update- Interesting fact. Do you guys remember your Sejarah? James Brooke ruled most of Sarawak followed by Charles Brooke and Charles Vyner Brooke who left for Australia when the Japs invaded? Anyway we had this girl in our class for many years named Brooke Alexander before one day on the cover of the local newspaper, it was revealed she was the descendant of the White Rajah. Pretty cool huh? Her bro was in the school track team with me. Whooped our asses pretty bad.

Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant

This guy's blog is funny and because he's a funny guy we are gonna eat at his restaurant when I come back even though I hate steamboat... but Amber Chia and Lim Kit Siang ate there ok. Probably after I've eaten there I would also be added to his celebrity diner list.

Ho suddenly I feel holidayish so I shall plan out my night in KL. Ok after dinner there and when I'm done signing some autographs for Amber and her friends, we should head to Ice Bar in The Curve. I'm geographically challenged lah but I think should be relatively close to each other right?

Damn ugly pic but I couldn't find anything else. Sure can't top Luna lah but since some dong in Sban very sakai about ice we should go there. Then of course we head to Tioman for some sun, booze and relaxation.

And for the last pic of the post, it brings to mind the previous dolphin spotting post where konon only Marilyn and me failed the purity test. Wah when i was linking that post I realised time really flies, didn't know it was so long ago.

very mafan to rip from dvd. but i got it done. hee hee. i shall tell you how. first you have to download a converter from dvd to avi. then for some reason i can't rip music off the dvd at the same time. so had to use audacity to re-record the sound off my speakers. then use windows movie maker to put everything together. (i have a feeling this is a super non-canggih way to do things but it works). however, the music lags a bit and some parts it's out of synch. but at least the picture's clear =D you can tell where i make mistakes. the last bit it's like the change in altitude and my reduced ability to coordinate the body made me sluggish with the move. oh well. haha. it was a good night =) a small bit of marilyn again on the kecohppl blog. it's been a while since i last blogged on this.

hola! It's time for my annual post! spain was chun! Miss it already. I miss siesta time! And oh my god the fooooood. Hmm very lazy to blog le. I will attempt a super long-winded blog. Or at least lots of pics.

So we arrived in spain after having lounged about for ages in the airport waiting for our super delayed flight to finally take off. Just in time for their siesta time. Or nap time. Everyone’s told us how lovely spain is, good food, sunny weather, friendly people, so yeah we were excited to say the least. But we landed in Barcelona and it was raining, n everything looked dark, gloomy and very very british. Sigh. Can’t escape from English weather.

We decided to do some shopping since it was too late in the day and we were too tired to do any sightseeing. But there’s always enough energy to shop! And hai fon we were thinking of u too. So kind right, we thought we’d get the shopping out of the way before u arrived. So off we go, all semangat n excited. So there we are, happily walking into the metro station, when suddenly some guy starts shouting really loudly at us.. kargar kargar! (or something like that). I knew that was Spanish for shit, or something along those lines. There u go- always learn the important phrases right? So we turn around, all suspicious, cos apparently in spain there’s lots of ppl trying to con you left, right and center. So he’s still shouting, and pointing at Lina’s back. And suprise surprise! There's some brown gooey stuff splattered right smack in the middle of her back. On her nice sort-of-new leather jacket summore! So there we were, completely shocked and wondering who or what had done this to us, when I suddenly realize this guy is STILL shouting. And this time he’s pointing at MY back. Wat the hell. So yes, we both got shat on. On our first day in spain. Whee. Ok it wasn’t shit, but we still don’t know wat the hell it was and really, you wouldn’t want to get too close to that brown chocolately goodness. We were both completely pissed off and traumatised because it was obviously not accidental. Methinks it was some dodgy looking guy who was following us around. So that was our happy introduction to spain. We spent the next couple of hours wandering around, trying to shop but still feeling very traumatised! So after a measly attempt at shopping, we decided to grab some food n head back. Pub crawl awaits!

We joined a pub crawl organised by the backpackers hostel we were staying in. Fun. But that’s another story for another day! Suffice to say it was great but it really is NOT a good idea to get smashed on the first day of your holiday!

So we get up bright and early the nezt morning and Lina, o boozy one, has a throbbing hangover. And we’re all set for a full day of sightseeing. Both places were great but had completely different vibes, the first one was more of a piano n singing type. Loved loved loved it! N the black guy on the left in the pic was super funny. So semangat n bopping his head all the way thru.

Final night in madrid, we decided to go see this fountain that is apparently soo famous n so fantastically beautiful that u can feel emo just looking at it. Well we went there. N it was closed. Apparently the season hadn't started yet, So no light show+music+showers of water for us. So Mr lim hai fon, being the classy classy guy that he is, took a piss in it. Malaysia boleh!

The last day hai fon had left. so it was full on shopping back in barcelona. And also a midnight tapas feast followed by clubbing, which was mainly spent fending off sleazy spanish men competing for the cheesiest pick up lines..

Spain was damn chun but im lazy to blog about it so we will leave the task to polyp and moo. expect it next year hahaha. nah dont be lazy you two. give you a deadline. 2 weeks.

im damn bored. think i might die as a doctor. at least if i go into medicine lah. ward rounds in the morn, clinics in the afternoon. seriously feel like whacking something as the day progresses. how does my consultant stay so upbeat and cheery? i would smack my patients and tell them smallsmall thing dont come cari me lah u wuss. funny how my consultant was telling me stories of doctors committing suicide. apparently some time ago a consultant radiologist tried to off himself by stabbing his heart...but missed. zzzz. probably couldnt do it without X-ray supervision. and this anaesthelogist that used a pressurized can filled with barbiturate to introduce an air embolism into his blood stream followed by the anaesthetic. 10/10 for utilizing his medical knowledge in such a creative fashion.

i think exposure to death and dying will have either of these two effects on a med student. 1) become more compassionate as they are reminded of their mortality and the love ones around them. 2) turn into an ass that doesnt flinch when the patient they just clerked for their portfolio dies the next day. my breath wasnt that bad was it? oh yeah and they make crude jokes to cover up for their lack of empathy. ok go ahead and judge me. i judge myself. but truthfully i wonder how many of you will retain the former disposition to death and dying after 10 years.

haha dont think u guys will find this particularly interesting but i just found out a bunch of my friends were puking all night after a cocktail party we had. and they were making a lot of noise about how i shouldnt be driving home after the party. heeheehee. apparently the birthday boy had to pay a 50 pound fine for puking in the cab. HAH!! Malaysia has their very own version of an ANTM-ish show...

(for SOME of you guys ('some' cause i know at least one guy in our circle who watches ANTM..*cough *cough Bryan)) :)out there, ANTM = America's Next Top Model) :)

This show, Malaysian Dreamgirl is basically an online based Malaysian reality show that is like ANTM in a sense that they pick a certain number of girls, throw them in the same house, give them tasks for the week and eliminate them one by one weekly. The difference is that the deciding factor between who gets eliminated is the amount of votes they collect online.

If u have nothing better to do (like me), go to www.malaysiandreamgirl.tv to watch the first 2 episodes. It loads pretty quick.

In my opinion, the best part of the 2 episodes was when this girl came in chewing gum.. yep, CHEWING GUM!
Anyhoos, it went something like
Jimmy (Judge 1), "Can you please go out and spit your gum? plese?" *smiles*
Kenny Sia (Judge 2), " Yeah, go out and spit your gum.. then go home.. don't need to come back"

Some of the contestants that came in seriously 'tak-boleh-pakai' (Marilyn, David, and whoever else who don't know BM, in literal terms it means cannot be worn or cannot be used) There were some good parts and some not so good ones. haha.. There is so much i can say to kutuk the show, but i don't exactly want to hurt anyone's feelings and well, to be fair this is the first show and everyone and every programme for that matter has to start somewhere..
So anyway, if ur bored, go watch it and blog about what you think about it.. :) We need to revive this blog

hihi ive been a medical student for four years and ive only just attended my first ward round. oh not including the one back in imu where we went to seremban hospital and i said i felt 'ill' so left halfway to yumcha in the canteen. which served the worst nasi lemak. harhar seremban people u gotta eat shitty nasi lemak.

Hello ppl.....=) hahaha....I just realised the last time I updated something was in like Oct last year....hahaha.....super lazy.....=P hahaha....Well since I'm lazy to type up my report I tot I would kecoh for a while.....hahaha =)

Well.....since coming back to Perth we have endured the terrible hot hot summer.....41 degrees!! crazyy....so all we try to do is hide inside with the aircon....haha....Well.....here is some outdated pics....hahahhaha

For Australia day as an IMU tradition we brought the juniors to Matilda bay to watch the fireworks just like how we were brought there last year....=) We have 5 juniors this year....Alvin, Wai San, Chi Chuan, Irene and Daphne.

Okay....so I know its like in the CNY period but Tim wanted to do a "Pseudo Xmas" for us..... cuz he did this really yummy glazed ham for christmas and he wanted us to try it...I've been hearing bout this ham via facebook since december.....hahaha...so since we had some free time on the 2nd day of CNY we had Pseudo Xmas.....hahahahaha......and being CNY we had yee sang.....so this is yee sang no.2....Tim's mum made it !! =)

They even had lion dances there =P but I was lazy to take a picture....=) And we actually had a 3rd yee sang that night but we were too hungry so we just dug in and ate it all.....hahahaha =)

Helllooooo people! Yes I have not dissappeared off the face of the earth...just been stuck in the ulu place that is Newcastle for the past month now:P Ahhhh what have I been doing you ask? Nothing really..going to hosp, coming back from hosp and preparing for hosp the next day..so sad:(
hehe anyways this year Su Yen and I moved off campus and are now living in this house on Sunset Boulevard(damn cool right the name...i feel special:P) Anyways we took a while to adjust to the house and lets just to say I must have angered some insect God at some point in my life because all the cursed creepy crawlies have decided to come live with me this year..let me just outline the "housemates" I have (or should say had cos we got rid of them one way or the other)

1. Wasps
Yes we had a little wasp hive near our laundry room...our laundry room was in pretty bad shape so we decided to clean it up a bit..its downstairs kinda under the house so there was a lot of leaves and all..there was also a very colourful spider on one of the windows near the laundry room..I asked my landlord to get rid of it(and i meant get some pro ppl to come in) but he voluntereed pretty readily to kill it himself which he did:D

2. Cockroaches
Eeeeeeeee got so many ok!everyday we are killing a few...lucky they are mainly the small small ones..but yesterday and today i happened to find the big ones in my room!!!needless to say that i sprayed enough mortein to kill even myself if i had hung around my room right after my spraying:P

3.Slug
Yes you read right...let me outline the scenario for u..there i was ready to have my shower(after checking the bathroom for nasty creepy crawlies of course) i stepped into my shower and was all ready to get my shampoo..when *shock & horror* the little beastly slug was on my shampoo bottle!!!!!!!now the old gowri would have run out screaming right away but the new and improved gowri stole su yens shampoo and shower gel *sorry su yen:P* and finished my shower in less than 10 mins! Su yen of course came and got rid of it for me:D

4. Spiders
Of course I had to save the best for the last...yes spiders..i hate it when ppl say ur in Aus, get used to them..well sorry i will never get used to them...my new house has a lot of trees and there are quite a few of them hanging around the garden..at first they kinda freaked me out but now i dont really care...as long as they dont enter the house..which brings me to my next story...A MASSIVE SPIDER was just above su yens room the other day..when i saw it i just froze in my tracks!i was terrified..and as usual su yen was as calm as ever..she actually asked me calmly how we were gonna get rid of it..we couldnt do anything about it cos we had to leave for the hosp..all day i was thinking about it..hoping that it wouldnt move..luckily when i got home my other housemates had caught it and were gonna get rid of it..i was a little relieved to find out that it wasnt poisonous..but still traumatising:S will put up a pic after this:D

Ok not that many insects I guess..but its not that bad(in case you guys are thinking of visiting:P) Its just the city girl in me talking..hehe ok la we havent been THAT boring..we went out last night for a med function..got to meet all the imu juniors and bercantik!!YAAAY so happy:P minumed a little and got very dizzy but thats about it..had to come back early cos we have hospital early today..sigh..ok pic time!!

E bay is such a harsh place..

Am i the only person this has happened to?

5 days ago, i went on ebay just to 'look' around while waiting for my dinner to cook. Everything was waaay boring, broken, ugly, used, not-worth-it, disgusting, expensive.. (ah, you get the picture..) till i chanced upon this piece of clothing.. am not going to reveal what it is.. (i don't want to be judged, in case i have poor dressing sense!) Anyhoo, i fell in love with it the minute i saw it.. it was almost love at first sight!

Everyday upon returning home from the hospital i would diligently log onto ebay to make sure no one has bid on the item.

i even made sure i caught a glimpse of it before i switch my computer off everyday..

Yes, i was quite obsessive.. hehe..

Yesterday was when the bidding was supposed to end. No one had bid on it so i was convinced it was MINE! i made my bid 1 minute before it ended and waited for it to end.

At the very last second, this b**** outbid me by 50p.. bloody hell...

Sigh I see some of you are in dire need of an education concerning women. as you can see in the chatterbox people are questioning my theories on choosing a girl based on her derriere. so let me give u history lesson. Long ago after the act of clouting a chick over her head and dragging her limp body back to your cave was outlawed (sadly), and the art of courtship became increasing popular..women needed a way to express their love for their other half. You see they couldnt begin to describe where this sweet, overwhelming feeling from within came from. So they decided to call that place the 'heart'. Obviously they didnt have marieb at the time so they didnt know what the heart was actually quite ugly but its ok cos people back in the day were stupid. so think about it....why do you think the heart is shaped like this?

Okie okie, time for me to revive the blog!! Yes, i've left the land of lahs-mahs-and-ahs and am bk in good ol' Adelaide! Nothing really exciting happened since i touched down 2 wks ago.. Moved into The Village..Omgness, i had so so so much stuff to move and needed more than 10 gigantic luggage bags!! Thank goodness Christine borrowed a van to help transport everything!! So yeah, i'm officially a villager now... =) Okies i know it sounds unglam, but The Village is a super nice place ok, go google! I have 3 other housemates, 2 fr Msia n 1 fr Canberra.. Didn't really hav much time to berkecoh yet, but we have a shopping date coming up soon...so yeah, will update then!! Hmm, not much of a CNY atmosphere here at all, without all the DONG CHIANG DONG CHIANG songs and seeing red wherever you go, mayb except for the weather..but it has been pretty chilly for the past couple of wks.. The highlight of our CNY celeb was during CNY eve where we went out for a nice chinese banquet with the IMU juniors (there are 10 of them!) and some seniors.. Then we had a party on sat.. Tats bout it, nothing fancy but definitely beats the pathetic CNY we had last yr...

Doin ENT & facial plastics at the mo.. I absolutely love love love it!! (okies i better pass my quiz this friday!) =) Everyone is extremely nice n helpful n so eager to teach!! ENT definitely tops my list as to which training program to get in to.. It fullfills all my criterias, its part of surg, has a tad bit of med, has more patient contact compared to other surg specialties and most importantly, it deals with heaps of kids!!! =)

harlo ppl.. i'm super free la.. actually got lotsa things to do but malas s usual.. so i've decided to blog... hehe! dunno where to begin s usual.. i'm so bad at writing la, seriously.. sob sob.. okay.. so let me start with my cheesecake story..

one fine day... lingwei aka de cheesecake expert.. decided to make leekeongjoo a bday cake for his bday.. how romantic n nice rite?! but it's not a surprise la.. cos there's only me n bran in de house how to curi curi make rite? so i told him and being a supportive bf.. he drove me to buy de cheesecake ingredients... =D we found out that seremban ran out of cream cheese... jeng jeng jeng.. the most important ingredient for my mighty yummilicious cheesecake.. panic panic.. i got everything EXCEPT CREAM CHEESE.. yay! cheesecake tanpa cheese... new creation.. in the end i've to ask Jeb to import cream cheese from kl.. oh btw.. jeb, gowri, fon n kheng came down one day b4 bran's bday..

after few hours of hardwork.. my OREO cheesecake was ready.. yay! suppose to put in de freezer but not enough space.. soooo in the end.. my cheesecake bcame OREO with sauce according to haifon.. sob sob.. "but it still taste alrite".. thats how they console me.. sob sob.. in a nutshell.. my yummilicious OREO cheesecake failed la.. =D hehe...

not bad rite? hehe! just that not solid enough.. i like the candles la.. hehe!

yoyo. just finished i am legend. thought it was kinda too simple for a movie of will smith's pedigree. expected more la. anyway he went out with a bang. so ok ok la.

hrmss ok kk part 2 coming up.

PRTTTTTTTT. de sound ripped through the silent mountain air. sigh. chem lesson 101. as u move higher up in the atmosphere, there is less atmospheric pressure. so when there is less atmospheric pressure, air expands. as u know, our bowel is full of air. so when it cannot keep the air anymore de air has to go somewhere right..n our GI tract only got 2 lobang la. so it will follow de path of less resistance. this is NORMAL. every1 does it. some do it louder than most. some don't admit it. but EVERY1 does it!!! STOP LOOKING AT ME WITH THAT FUNNY LOOK!! only up there i realised that 'fresh mountain air' might not be so fresh after all.

3km up de path, there was only me n christabel. the other 4 had already rampaged through the first half of the trail. christabel has always had knee problems and they flared up when we started the climb. so me being the nice kind gentleman that i am teman-ed her throughout the climb. we were going slowly and many ppl who started later than us were overtaking us. our guide was behind us. he'll stick with the belakang ppl. he's about lingwei's height, and thin. he was carrying more than 20kg of our bags. crazy fella. ppl hike like crazy, he put hands in pocket n skip along the path. literally. dam bengang wei.

RING RING. RING RING. dam cha tou wei. halfway up the highest peak in borneo, my handphone rang. dam off la. super mood spoiler. so when u hike, silent your phone or turn it off. it just kills de mood. anyways, it was lingwei. she said de ppl in front of her went ahead and she couldn't keep up. de ppl behind her haven't catch up. so she call me. dengggg.. so i ask her wait for us lo.

RING RING. RING RING. lingwei: where are you. why so slow de. i'm waiting at the pondok. me: okok coming coming.

RING RING. RING RING. swt.. lingwei again. she say very lonely and cold waiting there. so she went off with another guide. swt swt swt swt

urm. skip all the boring parts la. the hike itself was mostly uneventful. there's a single path you follow, den mostly it's steps until the final third, where things start getting rocky and u climb up rocks instead of wooden stairs. think we were at the 4thplus kilometer when mingkeong reached de top. fast la. he say he have to keep going cos if slow down will cramp wo. in 2nd n 3rd position were lingwei and mrshio. 4th was ah mok. me n christabel were taking up de rear. anyways it was about here dat i was beginning to feel dizzy n got headache la. took panadol and ponstan, but didn't help. think it's called acute mountain sickness. something like dat la. anyway not macho at all la. grrr. bring mountain sickness tablets.

ok sampai la last 500metres. so near. yet so far. up on this trail, we learned the true value of 1kilometer. 1kilometer is dam far wei. dam dam dam dam far. btw i heard jebb was thinking of climbing. hahahhahahahhahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahaha. the steps are taller than her wei. heheheh. but le if wan try is a good experience geh. can make it kua. the next day. hahahahahahahahahahaha.

anyways. de last part every1 reach top d la. suddenly it started raining. heavily. cis. i got no raincoat. cos i left it with lingwei, who abandoned me. sob. my raincoat reach de top earlier den me. when i need it. sob. anyway our faithful guide, who was always behind us motivating n supporting us, suddenly felt that those ppl who edi reached de top needed their bags. very badly. just when it started to rain. so he say byebye den cabut. leaving us in de rain. rawrrrrr. dam sad wei. abandoned.

okok last part le. de roles of me n chris reverse d. in front is me motivator. now back i need motivation pulak. hehe. cos really pening le. cannot tahan. walk few steps need to stop n rest. so dat last 500m was dam torturing la. smore got lingwei keep sms say she reach top d. grrrrrr. not motivating at all.

ok tired d. dam hot my crotch area. laptop on lap ma. panas.

hmm. actually dunno how much to reveal le. so din type all all la. don wanna spoil de enjoyment for racinetan and shengkunleng. so ganbate la u all 2. anything we come back ma ask us lo.

harlo n good morning everyone!

today's edition of the sabah times may or may not be a true account of what may or may not have happened on the path up to the peak of mt kinabalu several days ago.

anyways, it started as a perfect morning. dark, cold and earrrrrlyyy. we had to get up at 5 and get ready as our van came to pick us up at 530am. over here, as all the borneo ppl know, the sun is up about an hour earlier compared to the peninsular. but at the ungodly hour of 530, even our world's greatest energy source is nowhere to be seen.

anyways, it was to be about 2hours journey from our place to the starting point of our journey, timpohon gate. i would put in a trail map for you, but i'm lazy and you'll just have to imagine. just woke up not too long ago and everyone else is still sleeping. anyways the gate itself is already about 2000++ meters above sea level. the peak is claimed to be at 4095m. means we quite high up the mountain d la. the 'three-quarter house' is at 3300++ meters i think. called laban rata la the place. forgive my uncapped letters. i'm lazy. shoot me.

urm. when we reach near the place d, got a restaurant there, so we stopped for breakfast. to prove that not all haifon says is fake, they really do serve lambchop there. i think the price is kinda like normal price, higher a bit nia, but wasn't really paying attention cos not planning to eat. the place called bayu kinabalu. btw a little side note here. when you guys come to kinabalu, drink.plain.water. seriously. the price of drinks here is crazy. even limau ais is more expensive than coca cola. even if you don wan the asam boi they offer you.

urm okok reach timpohon gate d. gonna start climbing. there were 6 of us. 4 lelaki 2 perempuan. lelaki is leekeongjoo, moeycheehoong, mokchuangshin and wanmingkeong aka lameking. perempuan is nglingwei and christabelestherterence. now if you're smart and are kinda loaded, get a porter to carry up your stuff for you. they charge rm6.60 per kg for a return trip. so if your bag is 5kg, it's only bout rm33. but usually will be bout 7kg. most heavy stuff is water. word of advice - don carry too much water. just bring 500ml when you start out. there'll be resthouses along the way. 7 in total for the 6km hike. everytime you reach a resthouse just refill with water n drink. they got untreated water there. not crystal pure but drinkable la. at least still look like water not teh tarik. i didn't get a porter, but lingwei did. so i tumpang some stuff inside hers. haha. but i still carry heavy bag up k. don play play.

since i m so free...not studying for my minor postings...i shall blog bout our diwali nite la...

s boring s seremban may seem, we hv our share of fun oso k...diwali nite was held bout a week ago...i had fun running around...duno bout d audience tho...me, mich, kunleng took part in dances n fashion show...dats y damn bz...no time 2 sit down n watch...but we had fun dressing up and taking pics...hahahah!!!nearly all our batch chinese gals dat were in seremban took part in fashion show la...1st time k our batch so semangat...even chernwoo,fraser, su yuen, patrick oso got join...jin aun no nit 2 say la...sure hv 2 join 1..hahah!!!he got several solo parts sumore..=p

oh yeah...jeb n gowri came n watch too!!!hv 2 ask dem if dey enjoyed demselves enot la...we did not hv enuf gals for fashion show...wanted 2 pulled jeb in...but she mengada n reject us...sigh~

yup dats us....kunleng in her punjabi-styled sari, mengada jeb who dowan join fashion show, me in rajastani-styled sari (dis is a sari 4 shy ppl...=p), mich in a sari for a adolescent (she had to ber-tocang n act cute k!) and gowri wid her big big smile =)

our guys..jin aun n su yuen were d bridegrooms of the day k...too bad d brides arent fr our batch...cos we not tall enuf...hahahah!!!!height discrimination la!!!!

Ohh i just thought of something interesting to blog about! So the other day while i was taking a shower my water heater exploded and caught on fire. Damn funny, there i was happily shampooing and singing along to some song when BOOOOM!!

So i cut the heater's power so i wouldnt get zapped and ran down to kill the main fuse box. When i made my way back to the bathroom the fricking thing was on fire...with the flames reaching the ceiling! so i was thinking ooo form 3 Kemahiran Hidup says electric fire no can use water! use foam! or co2! but too bad la my house where got foam or co2 extinguisher. so i wet a towel and started beating the heater. unfortunately parts of the heater broke off and kept burning in the bathtub. So after i got the fire under control....hahahahahaha im trying to sound yeng btw....by under control i actually mean the heater completely melted and burnt a hole clean through the ventilation shaft while i was frantically splashing water at it...anyway when the fire was out the exposed wires were still sparking happily and since i decided im too pretty to die i should call up the fire department to sort it out.

i told them CLEARLY the fire was OUT but the wires were still sparking. key words 'FIRE, OUT'. anyway they decided its not yeng to come quietly to my house so they came SIRENS BLARING with their huge ass fire engine trundling down my little street causing all the neighbours to stare at the poor half naked chinaman with shampoo in his hair. -.- lucky my body damn chun if not sure shy d.

Yo yo!! How's everyone?? Hope all is well!! Goodness, i realised it has been aeons since i last blogged!! Haha.. okies much have been happening in good ol' Adelaide.. I'll try to fit in as many as possible in this one post.. coz tis will be my last post till after finals *shivers*

So, it has been bout 10 mths since we set foot in this peculiar little place.. Was really not used to it at the begining, as everything closes at 5 (!!) n there's barely anyone on the streets after.. except the drunkards who would go around high-five-ing ppl!! No mamak, no clubbing, no kecoh peeps (OMG! tis is the only complete grp photo of the kecoh peeps! tsk! note to self: must. take. more. photos.), no late night movies, no nothing! Just un-happening! The tallest building here is Santos, which might be as tall as One Utama! (i kid u not!)..Hindmarsh was nice, but not a place i would wana stay in the long run (note: fungus growing on carpet! utterly gross!).. We were lucky we got a place in Windsor a couple of wks later Welcome to our humble abode!! This is where kai, bry n i are currently staying!! There's a tennis court smack right in the middle (if u havent already noticed), a swimming pool, a spa, a gym n a bbq place... hahah.... I know.... lovely isnt it??

Orientation was nothing like IMU, it was just a week of tutes after tutes on communication skills.. The only thing to look forward to during orientation was the free cookies and drinks! (so Asian of us hey!) hahah...

Oh this is our uni btw.. nice nice nice??

Things were looking bleak, the temp was 40 degrees (it was one of the hottest summer eva!), was begining to regret changing to PMS.. *tear* Okie drama, no la, it wasn't tat bad.. really!! There were happy times too, like exploring places (there was once, when we were still staying in Hindmarsh, we got home late n were kinda sesat, we somehow ended up walking thru the cemetary to get bk!! *cue freaky tune* oh n did i mention, Hindmarsh used to b a hosp! *jeng jeng jeng*), our dinner cook-out, lepaking at Torren's,no exams,got to know ken n leng hui better,ken's penchant for "High School Musical" etc~...fun stuff!=)

Rundle and Glenelg and we started our rotations. All the IMU kids were sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.. a really nice hospital i must say, would definitely apply for my internship there! The rotations were great, ppl were heaps nice! Got to know the Villagers (the M204s, they are staying at the uni accom called The Village) better..been spending my wkends over ever since!

Thus far, things have been awesome.. I guess Adelaide has kinda grown on me, begining to love this place more! The people, the laidback-ness, the simplicity...the punk-head pigeons, the crazy weather..everything! =) Im amazed how certain circumstances force you to grow up..I reckon i've personally grown so much in this mere 10 mths.. From my first time taking the bus, to grocery shopping, to cooking, to doing everything (mostly) myself.. Mummy says im a more independent person now!! *pet pet* Of coz i still miss home heaps!! (tat explains the gabillion pics plastered all over my wall!) But yeah, its all good! I guess we should always take everything into our stride as every cloud HAS a silver lining (ref: ken)

Okies let me tell u abit bout my first bday celeb in Adelaide.. It started off with and early celeb with my cg. Went for lunch in North Adelaide. Delicious!! Considering the fact that i don't cook, they cooked me a wk's supply of tom yum n green curry!! yuummMM!! =) How thoughtful!! =)

The Villagers were so sweet, they threw me a surprise birthday party at the beach!! Not suspecting anything, we headed off to Glenelg on Mon (initial mission: to shop n frolic at the beach!) only to find EVERYONE there waiting.... Was really surprised as i didn't expect it! It was heaps fun!! =) The weather was wonderful, the food was great (i found out the gals were bz preparing the food the night b4! awwww!! *bear hug*), the company was lovely, we played cricket n touch rugby (altho it consists of just running around shouting, trying to tag other ppl) It was awesome!!! Had a blast!! =) Thanks guys!!! Thanks for making my first birthday away fr home a memorable one!!! =)

hellooooo everyone!!!im super bored now so i shall blog:PI have just been super lazy...not doing anything in particular because i'm on holiday at the moment..I'm starting again next tuesday though..malas laaaaaaa...
Ok so what have I been up to since my last post?haha I cant even remember the last time i blogged (ooops I guess i'm not so kecoh anymore then:P) Dont really know where to start so I shall just put up pictures:D
Su yen and I went to watch Cats the musical at Warners Bay...about 45 mins away from where we are by bus...of course i cant put any pictures of the musical itself because we werent allowed to take pictures and stuff...but we shok sendiri a bit outside the entertainment centre...the place was quite nice..there is a big lake nearby and food and stuff:D the musical was good!i felt so cultured ok!my first musical:D The lead actor was sooo leng chai ok!!

Then we went for Snow Patrol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO GOOD!!!some more we were damn kiasu ok...we went 2 hours earlier so we got to stand 2nd row from the front!!!!!!!!!!oh my gosh oh my gosh!!damn nice!!!su yen and I still cant stop watching the videos:P If you guys wanna see it you can go to her facebook page la...im too malas to put it up here:DLet me introduce you guys to this guy.His name is Si Bengis!!cos thoroughout the concert he never smiled ok!!then when he smiled he looked so terseksa!so rugi cos he was actually the closest to us...i have a lot of pictures of him but all also he looks so unhappy!

ADELAIDE!!!!!!!!IT WAS DAMN FUN!!!this was kaikais surprise bday party the night before his birthday...the first night i was there:D too bad couldnt really celebrate that day cos he had exam that friday..Jebb and I were damn smart ok..we wanted to give sheng kai a muffin for his birthday...a bit embarrasing cos we assumed that the ppl who came the night before would have left the lighters for us to use...but errr....they didnt...so we had to give the muffin to him without actually lighting the candles..lol!and i got him chocolate ok:Pi did put up the pic with all of kaikais friends that came for his surprise the night before but i terdelete my whole post and now im too malas to upload it again:P
They took me to the beach too!!!!!!!!!Glenelg beach...the beach itself not thaaaaaat nice la...haha sorry guys...but the ice cream we had was super nice!!!!!!!!!!!!mmmmmmm baileys ice cream..and the sea gulls were a bit scary la..they surrounded us while we were eating but they didnt do anything la:P

Let me introduce u all to the most important part of adelaide...the place where the adelaide ppl throw their garbage!!!i still cant believe we took picture of it:P hehe okla...we did more stuff in adelaide but im too malas to put pictures:D but this was obviously the highlight!

I went to melb for a few days after...saw samantha!!!!!!!!!!twice:D we went to have gelati (or gelato?) hehe it was damn nice!!i like the ferra roche flavour:D then i met up with the other imu ppl...kang meng was there too but he is taking the pic:P lee keng was there on holiday:D wei shen was also there on holuiday but he was on the plane back to tasmania when we went for dinner..
su yen and i were damn artsy ok...we went for an art exhibition..modern art ok!!but obviously its not my thing so i didnt get most of it:P well at least i tried...
So thats it really...been back for about a week...sitting around doing nothing:D ill be coming home in nov!!!yay!!so u guys make sure ur free la:D take care!! *hugs*

Many men on the other hand, don't really know what's the big deal about all the mushiness. They may see slogging hard at work to bring back the dough as a big expression of love. Even committing to one woman, is probably a big step for alot of men.

So I guess both sexes just need to try to see things from each other's points of views :)

Firstly, I wanna say that INSINCERE romance is overrated. These days, the notion of "romance" is often something used for manipulation, to win the chase...and not a sincere expression of love.

It was the final point in the Perhentian Annual Volleyball MegaPro Championships. final point.....and hf sees the chance to spike the ball... and leaps an amazing 2 meters in the air!! as you can see racine tan trys to give me a boost by poking my butt! jin aun tried to used the 'fierce face' to distract and intimidate me but to no avail! the ball was smashed into the opponent's court and the game was won!

i know dis a BIT late...but ya, all of us passed our sem7 and we are now in sem8...super free semester la...kecohpple, pls come back so dat we can meet up and kill our boredom..=p sigh, but none of us got d gold medallist or dat top 5 thing la...so sad...i was sooo aiming for it...hahaha!!!

anyway, yup, we flew (by 8hrs bus ride) all the way to perhentian...it was damn fun la!!!long-awaited holidays are alwiz FUN FUN FUN!!! (n i din lose my snorkelling stuff dis time)...lucky we had daniel and silly around...otherwise, pple like lw n mich are alwiz remembering d stupid things i did...but lucky can use silly and daniel as a shield..hahah!!!

we reached d place too early so we canot get our rooms yet...den we went 2 d common toilet of our hotel to change...mana tau...v yucky n got super big monitor lizard on d way...den we dowan change there lo...so we decided to curi use other chalet's toilet...mana tau...walk d whole each..our common toilet is d cleanest d...d beach aint v big la..and actually, in my opinion, d sea is nicer in redang la...but our rooms and food are definitely way, way, way better!!!oh ya...so we camwhored since we could not change to our beachwear...well-prepared for camwhoring k....lw brought her lil tripod...den we shiok sendiri la...

i'm so sorry.. i wanted to post quite long ago.. but.... hehe.. lazy.. =D a little update bout the sban ppl.. i'm in dermato posting.. bran in ENT posting.. rac in ortho... n mich doing her elective.. means holiday la!!! cis.. hehe.. i shall post some photos here la...

we reached the place at 5AM!!! n the boat came at.. 9plus.. luckily got a restaurant opens at 6am.. if not confirm i pengsan there la.. haha! n u noe wat.. those guys can really talk la.. there talk more than girls.. hmm...

the boat trip took bout half an hour.. n all of us were kinda disappointed la...cos de bubu 'long' beach is not long at all.. hahaha.. but our hotel is the best afterall.. compared to all de other resorts on that pulau.. we did a survey while trying to find a proper to change b4 we get our room.. hehe! the hotel got public toilet la.. but according to rac, moo, lina n i dunno whoelse.. they saw a monitor lizard measuring...... bout jeb's height? hahahaha... seriously.. i'm not joking wei.. n the hotel fella said that was the baby... the next day we saw the mama n papa s well la.. scary... hehe!

aiya.. i wanted to post so long ago.. i kept saving it.. until i dunno wat to type anymore.. hahaha..anyway..i shall continue from rac's story la.. oh oh.. bout the introduction guy.. hmm.. he's really weird.. the first night.. he was telling us.. 'eh, i'm not sure whether it was ur eye problem or my hand problem..' then me, jin aun, bran n i forgot who.. moo? was like.. wah!!! spooky.. dont tell me at nite can see things we're not suppose to see... palpitations.. sweat..

hmm..halfway sunbathing.. we were lying IN the waters.. but somehow when brandon.. we were like some whales kena washed to the shore.. lying in a longkang with SOME water.. hahaha.. but still shiok sendiri roast there.. ape la.. all so blur..

at nite we had some guys vs girls game k.. we were so noisy la.. luckily nobody complain.. haha! the guys.. oh my.. they're sooooooooooooooooo KIASU la... especially JIN AUN.. hoho... mengade.. haha.. but it was funny la.. we played erm... wat's de name of the game edi ah? somebody hav to act out then everybody else guess the word or phrase... so moo acted dolphin.. classic k.. next time ask moo show u ppl la.. haha! girls lost by ONE only la... must let the guys win u see if not they cannot sleep.. hahaha.. ehem.. ;p

Halloo!! hahaha.....I finally have some spare time to add some kecoh pictures to the blog....hahaha....Tomorrow starting surgery rotation and after that rotation, exams then home!! wahhh...damn fast lar....hahaha and....Justin Timberlake is coming to Perth!! ah!!!!! hahaha... I have to organise my tickets so I can go see him!! hahaha....

So it was just me and Nadia at the concert!! We were super duper happy lar.....kept screaming and the guy next to us was like....."I see you guys are christina fans?" and we were like...."yeah!!" hahaha.....alot of guys went with their girlfriends....hahaha......

And after a long wait for the concert to start she finally came out!!! I think we were screaming like mad ppl.....hahaha......

She was damn hot lar......but when she was walking across the stage you could kinda see a bump....she is after all like 3 months pregant....and she fell sick half way during the tour and had to cancel the rest of her melb and auckland shows!! I'm soo glad I got to see her!!

I can't remember which song is for which pic already....hahaha....but she sang quite a few from her new album and she sang some old ones.....like Come on over, Fighter, Lady Marmalade.... she sounds just like she does on her albums and she can dancE!!

Hahaha.....I'm sure the guy was sweating like a pig!! Lucky guy!! hahaha its like every guys dream come true.....hahaha....

When the concert was coming to an end.....it only left us wanting more.....hahaha.....It was soo worth the money......hehehe

yes, i play second life now. it's the cheapo online version of Sims. it runs surprisingly fast. takes a few seconds to load the 3d stuff but it loads alot faster than i thought it would.

so i went down to london this weekend to visit some friends, one of which managed to con me into watching a musical with her. called me when i was sleeping and asked if i wanted to watch phantom. drowsy la...i was thinking along the lines of superhero movie.

ahem so...phantom was excellent. such a tragic tale of love and passion portrayed by a cast of talented actors and singers. they projected such powerful emotions that would melt the heart of the coldest bastard. the pain of unrequited love, the perversion of a soul forged by endured torment and dissociation from society and of course the unparalleled beauty of two hearts melded into one. i genuinely found myself tearing halfway through the musical. so i wiped away my tears, yawned again and went back to sleep. -___- sigh rm200 for tickets ok. then they sing so loud ear sure pain one.

One day a pOlyp got lost and ended up in a land of oldy moldy buildings. She didnt know what to do so she thought she would go squeeze ppls fruit. The response she got was

'LADY! No squeez ze froooot! MAFAN KUROKUROKURO!'

Yeah so when some italian guy pisses you off tell him to mafankurokurokuro.

On a side note the apple was a real ripoff at 5 euros. wahlan apple got abalone and shark fin inside arh? Argh espn soccernet just ran out of articles as well..really time for me to finish that portfolio. Holidays coming up yay!

omg i have nothing to blog about yet im refusing to leave the computer and finish my portfolio. aiyah let me enlighten you people about the places ive seen in europe. without pics though im in the com lab and i cant be bothered to upload them anyway. besides my one word can paint a thousand pictures. fck im lame...

1st off Dublin-damn a lot of lengluis. got 1 especially chun. confirm ill marry if she'll accept. shouldve applied to penang med sch. haha bet u rather i shutup and put pictures ya? hmm cant remember anything else. ohya got this guiness factory..aiyah boring stuff.. next city.

Rome-went with moo and pOlyp. pronounced POU LEEP. accentuate the O. so a bunch of noobs went there, ate food that i truly believe u can find a better equivalent to in dominoes and pizzahut. ohya btwn us three we spent RM500 each day jes on food...that sucked. how did i let myself get bimbonized? aura permeating from them too strong. my manly level-headed aura got drowned out.

ok..im contemplating here whether to feign interest in the moldy old churches and architectural marvels or let my true, crass, uncultured nature be known in public. klah the latter. rome is full of old buildings. cipet dunno why they need so many churches also. semua orang go pray in that bigbig one in the center of town la! confirm can fit half of rome inside. hf's advise go rome see 1 church kaotim. the rest looks the same.

ohya but the big open spaces with grass in rome damn chun. i should write my own guidebook lah. bring u guys to the best places to take naps. actually it was ahmoo...shes narcoleptic. i wanted to check out more cool churches but she wanted to sleep. taking naps in rome is chun. last day of rome took a nap in this padang. woke up with this doggy staring at me, tot it was lina but i realized doggy's hair was blonde.

ok prague. capital(i think) of czech. should wiki this to prevent looking stoopid but im tired. prague ah...can eat wild boars neck, rabbit, crocodile. yah semua juga i makan. yumyum. dun bring your dogs on holiday in prague, chances are theyll eat it too. so jeb dun bring pepper and salt or whatever ur dogs are called. names like those...ull jes be tempting them. whatelse whatelse. ohya i got my ass grabbed! ..........by a guy. caocbknn. i damn homophobic still go grab. ask keong joo jump on u arh.
